Find Him.
I don't have a lot to say about today's date, or the ramifications of it. All I know is every time I have to jot something down at work, I have to date it. And every time I do that, I pause, just for a minute.
There are other people, with better, more important things to say. There are always others who say it more articulately than I do, who have words where I have none.
And so all I'm going to do is ask you to go here, and help out my friend. Many of you have come here from Tomato Nation, I know, and it's Sarah I have to thank for the steadily growing readership I have, never mind the fact that her writing has always been my favourite, always been the words that prompt my own. If anyone out there can help Sarah find Don, please, email her. Email me, too, and tell me about it. Because while Sarah has never been anything more than words on a screen to me, she's been a lot of those words. She's been violent threats in vicious Scrabble games, hysterical laughter over goofy pug names, an endless source of ridiculous hen jokes, and above everything else, she's been a friend.
So help her out, dammit. If you live in Jersey City, if you know someone who lives in Jersey City, if you know someone who knows someone who lives in Jersey City...let's make the power of the Internet do some good, hey? He's out there somewhere. It shouldn't be impossible to find him.
