Sick.
Bleah. I'm sick. I just spent two hours in the medi-centre surrounded by other sick people, which is hardly my idea of a good time. On the bright side, though, I came out of it with some antibiotics and a Blizzard, as the Dairy Queen is conveniently located right next door.
There have been blizzards of the non-delicious variety too, no doubt karma laughing at me after I wrote an entry that I didn't get a chance to post about how I was hoping the weather would hold out for Halloween. I wrote it on my laptop, and no joke, by the time I was anywhere near an internet connection it had already started snowing. Ugh.
Still, it's not a bad time to be sick, except for the likelihood of missing out on Halloween fun. (Boo!) It's freezing outside and I'm not sorry to be away from all the idiots who forget how to drive when it snows, as if we don't spend more than half our year driving in snow. Unfortunuately, it seems that my sister is one of those who forgets what they're doing, and I'm not convinced that my mother isn't. Great. If anyone needs me, I'll be in bed, hiding from my painful throat, my job issues that I will talk about another time, the snow, and my family of maniacal drivers. Woo.
