7:31 p.m. - 2003-12-17 Jamie and I went to the noon show, and after getting to the theater at about 11 to claim some seats (we ended up with my favourite, the end seats in the second row behind the wheelchair seating, because there's nobody in front and I can put my legs up on the rail and move them around a lot, and for a three and a half hour movie this is an important quality), we went to do a bit of Christmas shopping before settling in to the movie for the rest of the afternoon. He got a couple of things (my sister and his brother's girlfriend, both gifts he's been hemming and hawing about), and I started on my stocking for the stocking exchange and picked up an Old Navy gift certificate for my cousin. The mall wasn't as busy as I was expecting it to be, although the movie theater was packed. I'm heading back out into the shopping world tomorrow, with Hermione (assuming she calls me, which she'd better as I have been saving Thursday for her all month!), and with a few things picked up here and there I should pretty much have everything under control. Woot! Go me. My bedroom is painted, my books are half unpacked, and I'm getting a new dresser in the next day or two. Life is good, Aragorn is still freaking hot, and I still have the Extended Edition of RotK to look forward to for the next year. On that note, me and my slightly pathetic cold are going to go lie around in bed. Exciting, aren't I?
