The twelve foods of Christmas
I know, I know. I'm so far behind for Holidailies. I really have no good excuse. Mostly it's just due to the insane number of parties, the arrival of the Raisin and the Cowboy for a fly-by visit that lasted about 27 hours (so naturally, we had to pack as much silliness into those hours as we could), and a day of running around in a slightly maniacal fashion.

But now, my Christmas shopping is done, I have a kick-ass outfit to wear for Christmas (it's seriously gorgeous), and I only have about a million presents left to wrap. Jamie has started with the ritual "torture me about my present" which must mean it's REALLY Christmas, and I've eaten so much food already this week I'm starting to think I can just skip food entirely in January and still come out just fine.

Jesus, seriously. The food is already out of control. First, there was the Christmas Dinner at Chez Party on Sunday night, which involved our plates having to have layers of dinner (As heard at the dinner table "I'm already full and I'm only on my second layer! I can't even see the plate yet!"). Then, there's Jamie's house, where there is a constant tableful of delicious goodies to munch on, not to mention tasty dinners that I tend to invite myself over for.

THEN, I get home tonight and discover my parents had roast beef without me. Again! The last three times they've had roast beef I haven't been here. Grr. So naturally, I had to have a small piece of that.

So if you'll excuse me, I'll just be rolling off to bed now. I need to get up early to wash myself with a rag on a stick.
