Kickstarting 2005
I have started a New Year's Resolution blog. One of my resolutions this year is to keep better track of the books I read, because I am truly awful at remembering what I've read at the end of the year, and it's irritating as hell when I try to ponder things I've read and remember good books and that kind of thing. I don't want to bog down this journal with book reviews, because I don't imagine they're too universally thrilling, but if you're excited by other people's book experiences, keep an eye on that page.

For the record, here are the rest of my resolutions. There are a lot of them, I know.

I would like to get married with no debt. We will see how that goes. To help this, I should keep track of my money with my fancy MS Money that I've set up.

In that vein: continue to eat out way less and bring my lunch to work most days.

Get to the gym or the pool at least once a week while I still live here. I should take advantage of the amenities while I have them.

Keep my apartment a little tidier.

Be on time for work. That's the biggest one, I think.

Go to Disneyland.

Drink more water.

Manage to not be a bridezilla at any point, and have everything done on time without too much stress, so I can go to Disneyland and enjoy myself, and hang out with all the people coming into town. And enjoy the wedding itself, too.

The two that I'm going to focus the most on are being more punctual (in general, though more specifically for work), and keeping track of the books. Those are fairly easy to track, rather than some of the vaguer intangible type things, so I think it'll be good to focus on that.

2005 has the potential to kick ass. Let's see how it goes.
