Getting out of some ruts
I went on a spree last week and bought myself four new bras, three new pairs of tights, and five new pairs of underwear. It's more exciting than it sounds - new bras are a serious thrill for me still because I still can't believe I can buy a really good comfortable bra for twenty bucks.

And holy smokes, do these bras that I bought ever kick ass! Before, the bras I bought right after surgery were all flimsy but cute bras from La Senza, and while they were fun, they weren't terribly practical. I found myself mostly wearing the one seamless boring beige bra all the time, but it was kind of lacking in the uplifting factor. So I bought some fairly dull but ultra supportive bras at the Bay, and now my boobs look great! They're all perky and separated nicely and there is not a seam to be seen.

So that's exciting.

Also exciting is the fact that I am really enjoying this whole book log concept. The fact that I'm keeping track of my books (over at blogspot, if you're interested - I should add a link to my page over here) means I'm more inspired to read interesting things rather than just rereading the same old stuff. I'm branching out! It's a miracle! I am a rut reader in the worst way, and I'm attempting to cure myself of that.

I am also trying to get out of my music rut, something that's much easier to do with my beautiful beautiful iPod. I can take endless numbers of cds out of the library and throw them on there. If I don't like them, it's totally painless to take them off. Ahhhh.

Now, if I could just get my apartment cleaned and rescue my hamper from the Everest of laundry that is threatening to topple at any moment, life would be good.
